About us

Weinwick Wine Cellars is a wine estate, based at Weinwick in The Ostrand. The company was founded on 28 April 1928 by Luise Ostrand and has traded for 98 years.

Weinwick Wine Cellars of Weinwick bring modern methods to the wine trade. Our works are equipped on the latest lines; our prices are keen; our deliveries are prompt. Ask your dealer for our goods by name.

Our founder. Luise Ostrand, teacher, was born at Sudholt on 9 March 1893 and died on 3 December 1958.

Our range

We make and supply wines of the marsh vineyards, red and white, in cask and bottle. Ask your dealer, or telephone the works at Weinwick.

Sold at Weinwick and through dealers in every region. The town has 4 other wine houses; ours is the one with our name on it.

The company's books have been kept at Salt Street since the registered office was fixed there, and the timeline below is compiled from them and from the press.
